The Challenge
A chemical injection process involves the introduction of specialized chemicals to the oil & gas flow stream or reservoir to perform specific processes in order to enhance oil recovery. The large number of hydraulic lines and the difficulty controlling the injection process are the main challenges of existing technologies to ensure an efficient, safe and cost-effective solution for injection of chemicals.
Our Solution
Unlike the traditional concept of mandrel and valve, ouronova´s Electric Chemical Injection Mandrel (eCIM) integrates a multi-position choke with sensing and safety system, allowing greater control of injected fluid volumes with real-time monitoring.
Only one hydraulic line and one electric line are needed to control multiple mandrels inside the well. There is no limit to the number of injection points (number of eCIMs) in the completion architecture, which allows efficient management of chemical injection during the well production lifecycle.
